In the ninth episode of Fereydoon, Alireza Kiani examines the distinction between “moderates” and “hardliners” within the Islamic Republic, questioning how valid this distinction is and whether it is possible to speak of genuine moderation within the system at all. To explore the concept of moderation, he draws on the ideas of Aurelian Craiutu, a professor at Indiana University in the United States.
